Youth Mental Health First Aid Courses

2 in 5 Young Australians will suffer with a mental health problem in any one year. Mental Health First Aid is about being prepared, it gives you practical, evidence-based tools to recognise when someone might need support, how to respond, and how to guide them toward the right help. It’s not about becoming a therapist, just like physical First Aid doesn’t make you a doctor, but it is about knowing what to do in those first crucial moments.

The skills you learn can make a real difference. In fact, they can be life changing, and sometimes, life saving.

RealTalkWellbeing acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of Country throughout Australia and their connections to land, sea and community. We pay our respect to their Elders past and present and extend that respect to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples today. First Nations communities have used storytelling as a way of sharing knowledge for thousands of years. RealTalkWellbeing also believes in the power of storytelling to strengthen our community and learn together how to best guide future generations.
