Thanks for stopping by! I’m Rhys Lindsay — founder and director of RealTalkWellbeing.

At RealTalkWellbeing, we’re proud to be accredited facilitators of Youth Mental Health First Aid courses.

What sets us apart is our ability to combine evidence-based training with warmth, relatability, and real-world insight into the challenges young people face today.

Our sessions are interactive, inclusive, and designed to equip adults not just with knowledge, but with the confidence to support young people through life’s ups and downs.

We offer flexible delivery options including face-to-face, online, and blended formats to suit your needs.

My passion for mental health and building stronger communities started years ago. As a teacher, I witnessed firsthand how our minds, relationships, environments, and experiences shape our wellbeing, especially in young people.

It was during that time I realised something powerful: most mental health support doesn’t come from professionals. It comes from everyday people — family, friends, teachers, coaches, community leaders.

Real people having real conversations.

That’s what RealTalkWellbeing is all about: empowering people with the tools and confidence to make a difference, one conversation at a time.

Anchor 1

RealTalkWellbeing acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of Country throughout Australia and their connections to land, sea and community. We pay our respect to their Elders past and present and extend that respect to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples today. First Nations communities have used storytelling as a way of sharing knowledge for thousands of years. RealTalkWellbeing also believes in the power of storytelling to strengthen our community and learn together how to best guide future generations.
